Nanjing Vcare Obtained the First One - Time Drug Import Approval in Jiangbei New Area after Empowerment by Jiangsu Provincial Market Supervision Bureau

On December 8, 2022, Nanjing Vcare was approved for the one-time drug import approval. Nanjing Vcare also became the first enterprise in Nanjing Jiangbei New Area to obtain the import drug approval after the Jiangsu Provincial Market Supervision Bureau proposed 17 customized measures to empower the development of the Nanjing Area of the Free Trade Zone.

In March of this year, the Jiangsu Provincial Market Supervision Bureau released several measures to support the high-quality development of the Nanjing Area of the China (Jiangsu) Free Trade Zone, putting forward 17 customized measures to support the construction of the Nanjing Area into a leading area for independent innovation with international influence, a demonstration area for modern industries, and an important platform for opening up and cooperation. Before being empowered, after an enterprise submitted the application materials for imported drugs, the provincial bureau would decide whether to accept them within 5 working days and conduct a review and make a decision within 20 working days. After being empowered, for Nanjing Vcare, from submitting the application to obtaining the approval, the approval time limit was reduced by two-thirds. While reducing the company's communication costs and saving the customs clearance time, it also won precious time for drug R&D.
