　　Recently, the Nanjing Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau released the "Announcement on Publishing 2024 Nanjing Cleaner Production Model Cases and Advanced Technologies. "Among these, "Vcare Pharmatech’s AI-Assisted Directed Enzyme Mutation Technology for Pharmaceutical Intermediate Synthesis" was successfully selected as an advanced cleaner production technology, making it the only technology in Nanjing to receive this honor in 2024.

　　Compared to traditional methods, AI-assisted directed enzyme mutation technology significantly reduces iteration cycles, improves success rates, and achieves highly efficient catalytic activity enhancement. It is applicable across fields including fine chemicals, food and feed additives, and bioenergy.

　　Through AI-assisted analysis, Vcare Pharmatech collaborated with Jiangnan University to identify potential enzyme catalytic activity and selectivity control sites. The technology enables targeted mutation of specific amino acids to obtain beneficial mutant enzymes. This replaces chemical resolution methods with biocatalytic synthesis for pharmaceutical intermediates, drastically reducing wastewater generation and delivering significant economic and environmental benefits.
