On April 15, 2022, the Department of Science and Technology of Jiangsu Province released the "Publicity of the List of the First Batch of Small and Medium-sized Science and Technology Enterprises Intended to be Included in the Database in Jiangsu Province in 2022". After being examined by the science and technology departments of the province and cities, Nanjing Vcare Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Nanjing Vcare") successfully passed the recognition of small and medium-sized science and technology enterprises in Jiangsu Province.
Nanjing Vcare is a wholly-owned subsidiary established by Jiangsu Vcare through spin-off in 2021, independently operating the business of the CRO/CDMO sector. With a registered capital of 100 million yuan and nearly 300 employees, its revenue in 2021 exceeded 200 million yuan. It is a high-tech pharmaceutical enterprise integrating one-stop CRO/CDMO services of "chemistry + pharmacy + medicine". It is mainly engaged in CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls) for innovative drugs and generic drugs, clinical and registration (CRO) services; contract research and development and production (CDMO) services for innovative drugs; production and sales of characteristic active pharmaceutical ingredients, advanced intermediates and impurities.
Nanjing Vcare has multiple laboratories for synthesis, preparation, analysis, etc., nearly 300 synthetic fume hoods, 45 kilogram-scale laboratory ventilation rooms, and more than 200 sets of first-class international experimental equipment for various fields such as analysis, preparation, synthesis, biology, pharmacology and toxicology. It has formed a research and development team with rich practical experience and solid professional skills. By drawing on the international advanced management and operation models, it has the ability to provide CDMO production and supply services from pharmaceutical intermediates to active pharmaceutical ingredients, and has the integrated service ability of the whole industrial chain from pharmaceutical CMC to clinical CRO research and registration, helping clients quickly obtain production approvals and clinical trial approvals, and effectively coping with the cost pressure of national centralized procurement and medical insurance negotiations.
Currently, Nanjing Vcare provides whole-industrial-chain and whole-life-cycle CRO/CDMO services for many well-known domestic and foreign biomedical companies, such as Novartis, Merck, TEVA, Glenmark, Polpharma, Chiatai Tianqing, Jiangsu Hengrui, CSPC Pharmaceutical Group, Qilu Pharmaceutical, Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group, Simcere Pharmaceutical Group, Aosaikang Pharmaceutical, Hisun Pharmaceutical, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group. It has assisted clients in obtaining 20 drug registration approvals and 10 clinical approvals, and is currently registering and applying for more than 50 items. It has supplied more than 3,000 kinds of customized intermediates and active pharmaceutical ingredients. In 2020, it passed on-site inspections by the National Medical Products Administration four times. The company makes every effort to ensure that the costs of clients in the research and development and production stages are controllable and the supply chain is stable, helping clients enter the centralized procurement and national medical insurance negotiations with advantages. At present, the clients have won bids for 6 items in the centralized procurement of approved varieties.
